This blog starts with my first challenge of a healthy nutrition diet which I got several months ago.
This challenge is the nutrition program for 5 weeks called in Finnish language Allergiavapaa Ruokavalio or an Allergy Free Diet.
It is not just typical nutrition program, it is more, I would say a guideline how to clean your body first before you are going to add once at a time any new food element to see if you are allergic to it or not, rather than a simple weight loss diet.
From the first time I heard about it, I was immediately intrigued and eager to try! Never I have tried any diet or radically changed my nutrition before. I also never complained much about my own nutrition. I am generally healthy, have a good body completion and my eating routine consisted of approximately 3-4 little meals/snacks during a day. They were quite random, I ate when I wanted. Always in a small amount. I never ate excessively and for sure when I started to dance here, in Finland, I watched how much I have been eating even more and my meals started to be even smaller! Without any specific knowledge I thought it was quite ok…
Nonetheless I still felt quite often a heaviness in the stomach, this puffiness in the mornings, bloating and swollen body which I could not explain. Sometimes unexpected tiredness even though I ate a nutritious food (as I thought) adding vitamins to the meals quite frequently.
These were little things, but they were bothering and irritating me. Always was wondering maybe I should keep a diet or stop eating some of the products I usually consume?
More than once the idea to change my nutrition crossed my mind, as I wanted to stay healthier, had more energy to learn to do dancing sport at a more professional level and to perform better in life.
Thus, all this urged me, or rather, us ( me and my husbund) to try this diet.
