Good morning everyone!
Breakfast. Morning came to us very early again! I knew we could not practice during the day so only the very very morning was an option for us… You can try to imagine how early when we finished already at 9 a.m. Referring to our breakfast – when we get up so early usually we do not eat anything. Maybe just a cup of coffee. But after training, Anton and I were definitely eating a porridge.
No snack today – The reason was simple. Only one morning training, a busy day ahead. With only one training a day and so with less kcal we have spent with fewer kcal, which we spent during the physical load, we will be able to eat less, which we always had spent kcal more than eaten.
Dinner. We liked so much our sweet potato and carrot wedges in the oven so we were quite sure that I would be cooking this dish a lot during this week. Sweet potatoes were a bit sweet and at the same time slightly spicy. Somehow this garnish was perfect for us.
From Aki Hintsa`s book “The Core”: it is interesting to observe how the eating habbits have started to change reciently for us. When I was reading the chapter in this book about nurtrition I started to notice how simple truths were really changing our bodies over time. For example, one of these small truths was about how important it was to devote enough time to our diet or nutrition, to have a system that you follow, and to avoid putting your body into the stress with indiscriminate random food comsuming at constantly different times.
For me, like for many of us it is not really big news. We all know that. But it’s hard to believe that this method starts to work in favor of your body in reality!
But it does. And we started to observe that in our bodies.
Very often, after our practice and training, work or various different engagements, we would come home and have a snack or a very fast small dinner, usually looking in the phone in our hands or in front of the TV. It seems like a small issue, but in reality we did not even realize that we were eating very quickly, without paying proper attention to it, actually ruining all our process of digestion.
According to this diet/nutrition, we did not notice how she pulled us into the right way of eating. Now we both sit down to have dinner with a proper conversation. And we eat several times slower.
“Why exactly such changes have occurred?”
– In this diet one of the important elements is to eat as little as possible processed food as possible. Therefore, it takes me time to prepare and cook everything, then chop up the salad, then arrange everything on the plates. Then eat it all. To some extent, this diet tied us to into the habbit of a correct way of eating.
Salad. We had sliced avocado, pilled cucumber, lettuce, sprouts and raw cauliflower and swede.
Chicken. Chicken meat is considered dietary too as well as turkey´s. The most low-calorie is the fillet parts, in which there are only 113 kcal. Don’t forget that the number of calories in a product depends on how one or another part of chicken is cooked. I cook it in the oven with a sprinkle of olive oil and light seasoning (salt and pepper). The product is rich in vitamins and minerals. Among them:
- vitamins A, B1, B2, B2, B3, B5, B6, B9, C, E;
- potassium;
- sulfur;
- sodium;
- magnesium;
- iron;
- zinc;
- calcium;
- phosphorus;
- chlorine.
